Too often, a facilitator is seen as the external person who independently chairs or moderates a discussion, workshop or conference. This is less than half the story.
I use a coaching conversation to clarify the goals.
I then translate that discussion into a careful, timed structure and facilitate the event itself.

Joanne Rule MBE
I have a breadth and depth of experience. I facilitated the start-up of the UK Advisory Forum on Ageing for the Department of Work and Pensions. I supported the work of Informed Choices on Cancer Screening for whom I also facilitated a citizens’ jury.
For two years I facilitated for Tesco in its engagement with health stakeholders. Recent facilitations include events for St Mary’s University, London, and for Macmillan Cancer Support in partnership with NHS England.
